I always feel my mother is watching over me even though she died over 28 years ago. It’s a very comforting thought.
On this Mother’s Day, I know my daughters will show me their love and gratitude in the way of flowers, presents or a donation to a charity I like. When I was growing up, we did not observe this tradition, though that’s changed now.
My mother was a generous spirit, a religious woman, an extraordinary cook, and a very principled and caring person. It’s hard not to have a mom – even at this stage of my life, I miss her. So, I’m dedicating this spring flower tribute to her. Happy Mother’s Day.
