Closer to where we live –in fact in our back yard almost, one can climb some mountains and get on the Tuen Mun Trail. We did that too and saw some beautiful views. We’d like to share these views with all of you.

Naseem,
The photos you have been posting are wonderful. I especially like the trip you recently took. It reminds me of the Chinese landscape scrolls from art history class.

Hi Sarah, Wonderful to hear from you and great that you like the photos. There is so much to see here. Sonia is visiting at the moment and we are showing her the sights! Yesterday, we accidentally came upon an art exhibition of Hong Kong painters –we really enjoyed it. It was mostly nature scenes on scrolls. Some were very good.

How gorgeous! I needed a little escape today, and this was just perfect. I’m so glad you’re enjoying yourself, Naseem.

Happy Spring! The walks look gorgeous, but today’s report of the worst air pollution in Hong Kong history make me just as happy to be here at home! Hope all’s well.

Jud, you’re absolutely right about the air pollution. Two days after our daughter left for the U.S. the sandstorm that hit Beijing came blowing this-a-way! Pollution levels were severe. I stayed home and indoors! Pollution is generally a big issue of concern here and rightfully so.
