Our backyard takes on a new life whenever winter storms blow this way. The first blast of the season left ten inches of snow this week. It’s fast melting today, but I wanted to share some of these wintry scenes with everyone particularly our relatives and friends who live in the balmier parts of this world and are not accustomed to such sights.

Lovely photos, Naseem. We just are getting our second snow of the season today, but thankfully it’s not likely to amount to 10 inches! Best to you and your family for a wonderful holiday!

Very nice Naseem. We did not get this amount in Mt. P. Hope we don’t either. I’m happy with a dusting on the ground.

10 inches of snow in the UK would bring us to a grinding halt. Fortunately we are enjoying rather warm weather for this time of year.

Hi Ms. Stecker!~ I have expected for such amazing pictures since I got here but I haven’t seen it yet. It snows several days ago in Ann Arbor but not a storm. i love your pics! I’m wondering why it didn’t snow so much here since we are so close. I am still waiting for a white Christmas ahead! Friends promised me a snowman, or maybe, a snow santa claus, hahaha~ I will share the picture with you if we make one on Christmas~~~~
